Yeeeeyaaaaaa!

Happy Birthday Dani for yesterday!!!

What a GREAT day.... We took Dani shopping in the morning, and had lunch and did a few other jobs, then Dani came home and had a little nap! It was a lovely day out, then a lovely afternoon at home.
Amie, Benn, Jesse, Jorja & Holly rocked up at 4, and we chatted to them for an hour (while the kids went outside to play) Scott got showered and dressed at 3-ish... (haha, i might be lying!!) He was SO keen to get going....
Amie has photos of the kids, so I will post them when I get them!
We left here a bit after 5, and took off to the Burpengary train station. We got on the train (it was a bit scary as neither of us had done anything like this before - sad I know!)
The train ride was a bit boring, it took an hour to get there, but by the time we got into Milton station, the train was PACKED - all footy-goers!
We started walking towards the stadium and there was thousands of people, it was an awesome sight... I took this pic from the walkway.

It was a pretty long walk, but we made it into the stadium, we must have been there a bit earlier than alot of other people, because it didn't seem too crowded. Scott went and got us some beers, and i took this photo - the guy (??) was singing Breakfast at Tiffany's. It was SO loud.

We found our seats, and then thought to ourselves - Crap, we should've got more beers!! It was a really tight squeeze & getting out of our seats would have been pretty hard. So we sat there until half time. Here is a pic of the Bronco's running on. I can't even describe the sound - It was utterly amazing. For someone that isn't much of a footy fan, I was in awe the whole time!!
So when Bronco's got a try, I thought my head was going to explode with the noise, but so exhilarating. Maybe I should've written this last night when it was fresher in my mind.....

Here we are!! Bronco's newest supporters!!

Scott is absolutelty positive that this was the best thing he's ever done!
It was prett cool, I must admit.
So now I'll tell you about our ride home! We finally got to the train station, behind 50,000 people leaving the stadium (another amazing sight) And just as we sat down, Scott tells me that he needs to go to the toilet - WHAT?? Ok, so we had to get off at the next stop, then get back on, yep - that shouldn't be hard. LOL We got off, then got back on the WRONG train.... after a few stops, Scott very calmly said, "let's get off at the next stop - we're on the wrong train".... I was like "ARE YOU KIDDING ME????"... We got home ok. A few minutes late, but we got there ok.
Amie was still up when we got there, so we had a little chat to her then went to bed.
So today was so lovely, we had a nice breakky with the Kirkies, then they took off to do some more work out at the farm...
Phew - did i get it all? We don't plan on doing much today. Maybe go for a swim later.? Ah, who knows!!
By the way - it was a ground record of 50,416-strong crowd.

AWESOME!!

I love the picture of the game. It's a rush isn't it? I sat among 90,000 at a baseball match in Atlanta watching the Florida Marlins play the Atlanta Braves. It was electric and you're right, you feel like your head will explode with all the noise.

You made me giggle with the train story.

Loving the picture of Molly in her party hat!

Sounds like a hellava night. I DID have to click on the link to see who'd won the game though - thought it must have been the Broncos, but NO. :(

Sorry, I did realise that i didn't even put the game details down!!
Yes, Bronco's lost. You know i was even cheering for the cowboys, then i'd look over and scott wasn't cheering, neither were the other maroon supporters!!! It was funny, must've looked like a right goose!
I don't think i cared who won, it was just great to be there!!
90,000 at baseball? Wow, they really love their baseball hey!
