Thanks to Jodie!

Hello & a very happy afternoon to everyone!

I've been reading Jodie's Blog for a little while now, and if you've popped over there, you'll see all her beautiful projects, from knitting to building gardern sheds!

Jodie had her baby girl 3 days before Molly was born. We have been friends since the start of highschool & she's still one of my closest friends, so it's nice to check out all her pictures & projects.

Which brings me to the point of this post - I couldn't help myself... I have been looking at all her gorgeous beanies and things (wishing that I could knit) when I decided today was the day I will learn how to knit. I went to Kmart & picked up some wool, needles and 2 beautiful books for beginners.

I will try a scarf to begin with & see how I go.

Below, are the fabulous little bubby out-fits (complete with beanies & booties) that I will pass on to someone to make for me! haha, bet you thought I was going to say that i'd attempt to make them myself..... haha. Maybe my nan can do them for me!

Love and knitting needles!

Nan said, and I quote......" if you pair of girls had stopped giggling for 10 minutes when she was teaching you how to knit........"
Shes popping out to Big W this afternoon to pick up some wool to knit the girls something. Probably just what she needs. A project.

WOW!!! I'm so proud of you.
Now that you've started it won't be long and you'll be wondering why you hadn't done it sooner.
I love the little mauve outfit, Molly would look gorgeous in it.
Happy Knitting, can't wait to see your first finished project.
If you need any help with your knitting a good site to check out is www.knittinghelp.com...

Love Jodie

Oh yeah Suze, and why didn't YOU teach them to knit??? Huh????

I'm actually not even sure if it's something you can learn from a book, is it??? (Bit like making gravy !!)

I left all the knitting lessons to the expert, Nanny. LOL
I actually gave Jen finger knitting and french knitting instructions over the phone yesterday and that seemed to be successful...or so Jen told me. picture this...make a loop and put it over Hallie's finger, no, not her neck, her finger. LOL
I had a chuckle when she said "whats this knit 1 purl 1 mean?"
I want photos of this scarfe please Jen? LMGO (does that say laugh my gut out?)

The knitting bug has hit with all my friends too. I bought all this devine, supersoft fat wool at Spotlight yesterday then turned round and took it straight back. Reason: I have two HALF finished, with the needles still in it, scarves in my craft cupboard.

Good onya Jen!!

Oh, the knitting.... I forgot about that! haha, no - i put it aside while Scott was home, i'll be getting back into it tonight i reckon.

Pin... I did learn from a book (well, a site) it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be!

Mum - i still haven't stopped giggling for 5 minutes to learn anything! haha.

I will post some photos when i'm done!
