6 months gone
Where did the last 6 months go?
I often sit and think about things that i want to write about on my blog, but when i'm sitting here on the computer, my mind goes blank.
I want to talk about the last 6 months of my life - a reflection really.
Our lives have changed so much this year. We've moved states, Scott's changed jobs, Hallie has changed schools, Dani has started school & Lucy has changed homes.
Moving states wasn't as challenging as i thought it would be. It was actually refreshing - a new start. We have dad's family about 45 mins away on the sunshine coast, so we try to get over every month or so, to catch up with everyone. I have a few cousins in Brisbane, but have only caught up with Heidi so far. We also have friends from Cobar, (we all worked at the same mine) they live only 2 minutes away, and we see them most days, it's great to have them here.
Scott started work with a mining contractor when we first got here, but wasn't impressed with the safety at the mine, so applied for a job with BHP, and was hired immeditely. I know this would have been pretty stressful for him, but he'd never show it. That's what i love about him. He doesn't burden me with his worries (unlike me!) He's really ejoying working with BHP, he has a few guys from Cobar that he is working with and the roser is 7 on / 7 off - so he's never away too long!
The next 6 months?
What will it bring? Who knows! I just want to accomplish something before the year is out, that's all
If you got this far into my dribble - Thanks!!!!
My love to you all.

NOT DRIBBLE - I loved your reflection... you are a very wise woman and I hate when you are put under pressure or when things go wrong for you. I wish we could live closer together and grow together - maybe one day Kitty. Just remember the old saying, 'what ever doesnt kill you, makes you stronger'. I think you have grown from strenght to strength and i really admire you for that.
I hope the next 6 months is stress free for you and your beautiful family and i hope we can be a part of that, for a few weeks here and there.
Love you,
Bella
I agree totally with Jessabella.
What a turmultuous 6 mths you've ALL had.
I noticed you wrote about others, but not about you Jen. It isn't all just about kids and hubby.
The next 6 will fly I reckon and be wonderful!
ahhh but my sweet Jennifer you have accomplished much - your just not looking at it the right way. Now do a handstand against the wall and it will all come into perspective. xxxxxooooo
That's the wild and crazy thing about life Jen, just when you think it's all coming together, wham!! it changes again. Remember the old saying... (words to the effect of) "The Universe only deals out what it KNOWS you can handle" and yeah, here's to challenges!!
What a reflection. You're such an amazing writer Jen!!! Here's hoping the next 6 months bring you nothing but happines and smiles. Just remember... 'Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift' (Eleanor Roosevelt).
Love Jodes
Oh, thanks everyone!
I wrote that in the wee hours after a few too many...
(i changed the time...lol)
Katie - I'll do that. Stand on my head & see what it looks like from that view! You are a wise woman.
Pin, I laughed when I read your comment - "just when you think it's all coming together, wham!! it changes again." HOW TRUE IS THAT??
Thanks again.
