A happy weekend to you all...

Good morning!

Molly is now saying "mumma"... she said it twice, so i know that i wasn't imagining it. She also into everything.
She's having a rough trot this week, we've had bumped heads, squished fingers, tummy upsets, snotty noses and little Molly coughs. She's a SOOK.. (wonder where she gets that from...lol)
To put her down for a sleep is impossible, she has a major case of 'separation anxiety. I spoke with Beck and Roz, and they both told me that around the 6 / 7 month mark, Bradman & Brianna did the exact same thing. Jes will probably tell me the same thing about the boys.
So - I'm here to kiss, cuddle, tickle, snuggle & laugh with Molly to ride this one out. I can't wait to sleep a whole 8 hours without her waking for me in the middle of the night!

Scott flew in yesterday morning, was home long enough to shower and pack a little over-night bag, before he & Danielle took off to Dubbo to pick Lucy up.
They got into Dubbo around 7pm, so Scott would've been able to have a great catch-up with his Mum & Dad before leaving today.

About me- I'm going through my own little crap phase at the moment too.
For those of you who has seen me this year, you would've noticed that my fingernails were really long and super strong. Well, these last few weeks have taken their toll. Every single one has broken off and are very slow in growing back. It's really weird, because when i have short nails, i look at my hands and they remind me of Mum's hands. I've never seen that before!
When Molly was 2 months old (almost 5 months ago) I started losing massive amounts of hair.
I was told that this will only last about 8 weeks. Nope - 5 months on, I am still losing hair, and i just want to go all Britney & shave it off.
How is a girl supposed to feel beautiful with 50 strands of hair to her name? I have resorted to tying the pathetic pig-tail up with one of the kids 'little bands'. That is too sad.
I might be overdue for a hair cut, so i reckon i might get a fair bit cut off this time.
My weight is fluctuating like a freakin yo-yo. When Scott is home, i eat 3 meals a day, when he's at work, i miss breaky and lunch & i eat dinner with Dani. So every week, i'm either 5 kilos up, or 5 kilos down. It's a joke. I feel like crap!
I wonder if all of these things go hand in hand..... hmmmm.

Scott won't be home for easter, so it'll just be me & 4 kids. I was talking with Amie about bringing the kids over to her for easter, but i think i might just enjoy my little ones at home.

I hope everyone has a great sunday!
Here's a little reunion pic - Molly and Lucy. What a cute couple!!

Where do I start??

Good morning to you all...
I've had a very busy 24 hours, I'm not quite sure where to start!
I'll start with Hallie.

* (I took this bit out) - [basically, alot of problems with Grant. Family court matter now.]

So while I was talking to Hallie, Dani was in the loungeroom playing. Nothing unusual, she's pretty right left to her own devices, until now!!!!

She found the scissors. Is this a mullet???

At first I was lost for words, actually, I felt like crying. I have been growing her fringe out for 2 - yes 2 years. Then I got cranky.

Thismorning when i did her hair for school I gave her this headband (see below) and this message: (speaking like a commando)

This headband is your new best friend.

You will wear it always - if it falls off, you will put it back on, if you misplace it, you will find it, if you don't find it, we will buy another one.

You will sleep with it, eat with it, shower with it, - it will never leave you sight.

Do I make myself clear private?

Yes mummy..............

Ha Ha - no, I didn't really say it like that (much)

Now, onto the last topic - Molly. She said her first word - Dada. Now, that's ALL i hear. haha, why wasn't it mumma? She said that a few weeks ago, but never said it again, which leads me to believe that she never actually said it - it was a figment of my imagination!!!!

Have a great day everyone, and while your brushing yours, or your childrens lovely locks, please think of the heartache that i may be feeling....... LOL

I originally put the video onto this post, ARGH.....

I am having heaps of trouble with this, the little video pasted ok, but wouldn't play when I published it.

Does anyone know how to do it?

I am VERY excited about my new discovery! I had no idea that my camera can take movies! haha, LOOK OUT.

Swim said the mumma fishy........

We had SO much fun thismorning..
Molly had her 2nd swimming lesson (i couldn't take pictures of the first lesson)
But Scott came today and got some shots of our little fishy!!

She LOVES the water!!

It's a great little class, we sing humpty dumpty, old macdonald, the hokey pokey and heaps of other fun songs. All the babies laughed the whole way through!

They had this swim mat, the instructor walks (or crawls) the babies down to their mummies, then they 'fall' them into the water, then swin them back to the mat !

The next 3 are in succession, I swam her under the water to the instuctor (pic 1)
The instructor swam her under the water (pic 2)
Then up to me (pic 3)
She LOVED it. Was so much better than last week.

Yeeeeyaaaaaa!

Happy Birthday Dani for yesterday!!!

What a GREAT day.... We took Dani shopping in the morning, and had lunch and did a few other jobs, then Dani came home and had a little nap! It was a lovely day out, then a lovely afternoon at home.
Amie, Benn, Jesse, Jorja & Holly rocked up at 4, and we chatted to them for an hour (while the kids went outside to play) Scott got showered and dressed at 3-ish... (haha, i might be lying!!) He was SO keen to get going....
Amie has photos of the kids, so I will post them when I get them!
We left here a bit after 5, and took off to the Burpengary train station. We got on the train (it was a bit scary as neither of us had done anything like this before - sad I know!)
The train ride was a bit boring, it took an hour to get there, but by the time we got into Milton station, the train was PACKED - all footy-goers!
We started walking towards the stadium and there was thousands of people, it was an awesome sight... I took this pic from the walkway.

It was a pretty long walk, but we made it into the stadium, we must have been there a bit earlier than alot of other people, because it didn't seem too crowded. Scott went and got us some beers, and i took this photo - the guy (??) was singing Breakfast at Tiffany's. It was SO loud.

We found our seats, and then thought to ourselves - Crap, we should've got more beers!! It was a really tight squeeze & getting out of our seats would have been pretty hard. So we sat there until half time. Here is a pic of the Bronco's running on. I can't even describe the sound - It was utterly amazing. For someone that isn't much of a footy fan, I was in awe the whole time!!
So when Bronco's got a try, I thought my head was going to explode with the noise, but so exhilarating. Maybe I should've written this last night when it was fresher in my mind.....

Here we are!! Bronco's newest supporters!!

Scott is absolutelty positive that this was the best thing he's ever done!
It was prett cool, I must admit.
So now I'll tell you about our ride home! We finally got to the train station, behind 50,000 people leaving the stadium (another amazing sight) And just as we sat down, Scott tells me that he needs to go to the toilet - WHAT?? Ok, so we had to get off at the next stop, then get back on, yep - that shouldn't be hard. LOL We got off, then got back on the WRONG train.... after a few stops, Scott very calmly said, "let's get off at the next stop - we're on the wrong train".... I was like "ARE YOU KIDDING ME????"... We got home ok. A few minutes late, but we got there ok.
Amie was still up when we got there, so we had a little chat to her then went to bed.
So today was so lovely, we had a nice breakky with the Kirkies, then they took off to do some more work out at the farm...
Phew - did i get it all? We don't plan on doing much today. Maybe go for a swim later.? Ah, who knows!!
By the way - it was a ground record of 50,416-strong crowd.

He's new roster is a cool 7 on, 7 off.
