oh, so tired

Hey everyone,
Haven't I been a slacko!! It's not just me, I've noticed that everyone has been really busy.
We have had a massive weekend, and it's not over yet!

On Thursday, i picked the kids up from school, did a bit of shopping, and went to Sheree's for dinner while we waited for Scott & Lance to fly in. Didn't get home till 10-ish.
On Friday, we took the kids to a little pub on the beach that has a pool for the kids to swim in, so we met up with a few friends, had a few drinks and fed the kids sausages on sticks.
I thought that we were going home from there, but they all decided to go back to Lance's for more drinks. We put the kids to bed and stayed up till 3.30 (ish)
Yesterday, we went back to Sheree's for a tupperware party (didn't spend too much!)
I was ready to go home, but stayed for a BBQ and footy. Didn't get home till 10.
I kinda miss having no social life at all. I can't remember ever feeling this tired.

I have a house (that i've been neglecting) to scrub & a mountain of washing to do.
At 2 today, we're going to watch the cowboys vs warriors. I really don't want to go, but i'll just have to suck it up.

I'm home!

So there's all the pics sofar, there will be plenty more to come - we have so much work to do here and i love having all the before and after pics!
We've been here a bit over a week now, and already done so much! Scott got his tractor, we've gutted out the gardens - the dead leaves were probably 10 years old. Scott's fixed the bore, cleaned another 10 years of leaves out of all the gutters, cut every blade of grass in the yard, and watered it flat out (i reckon it's so he can mow again soon) LOL
The house is tiny, 3 bedrooms, very small kitchen and not very open plan, but we've already figured out all the things that we can do to it - it definately has alot of potential.

We went and saw the Cowboys Vs Bulldogs game the other night, it was AWESOME. Scott and a mate from work got to sit in a corporate box (a BHP box) and they thought they'd just go up, drink the free grog, then come back and sit with us. They drank the free beer faster than you can say "i'm a drunk" then got back to us (1.5 hours later) absolutely plastered. God love 'em.
It was so much fun!

HAPPY FATHERS DAY - to Dad, Scott, Ken, Ben, Mat & all the other days out there!

Happy 1st Birthday to little Connie for today!

Townsville - Part 1

The Strand
Here we are!! We left Deception Bay on the 7th August, the flight was good - all the kids really enjoyed it, and by the time we got to the motel, it was 10pm and the cot hadn't been set up, the extra kids bed hadn't been set up & we had no milk for Molly! It was 1am by the time we were all tucked up. LONG DAY.

We enrolled the kids into their new school on the wednesday, and they started on Thursday. No messing about here!! Hallie was admitted into hospital about a week after we got here, she had pneumonia - bless her. (She's fine now)
