Alma Park Zoo

With everything going on in the last month, I forgot to do a post about our trip to the Alma Park Zoo. Scott and I took Dani, Lucy and Molly over the easter holidays, it was such a lovely day.

Good afternoon!

Things have been pretty quite here on the Bell front. Can't really report too much! (a nice change)

Hallie seems to have settled back into school well and Danielle is stoked to have her home.

Molly has had a little tummy upset for the past few days, but is getting better.

Scott flew in on Fri morning, he went to the Bronco's Vs Storm match on Friday night with Craig (friend from Cobar) and then on Saturday night, we all went to Roz and Craig's house for a BBQ.

It was beautiful. Also very nice to get out of our house and do something different.

There's no place like home

Just a quicky to let you all know that Hallie and I have arrived home safe & sound.

After 2 very long days in the Parramatta family court, I had a victory.
I will post more about that tomorrow. I'm stuffed.

When we wake up tomorrow, we have to drive to Kilcoy to pick up Dani and Molly.
Amie has had the girls since yesterday morning.... she's an angel.

Long time, no see!!

Good morning!

Well, it's been a LONG week, and i'm glad it's almost over!!

Scott is flying in today, i'm very excited. This trip, i have missed him so much, I can't wait to have him home.

Easter was lovely, we drove over to Caloundra and popped into Gogo's for a bit, then went to Tim and Tamara's for the night. They had a little party with their close friends and some family, a bit of a baby head wetting, and easter party all rolled into one. It was really good, i caught up with...... little Kristy Vella. Jes & Beck will remember her, we went to school with her at Landsborough about 15 years ago. The girl hasn't changed a bit, it's amazing how 15 years can fly by and you still remember things, we had a good laugh!! Jes, she said to say Hi. She married Tim's friend Brett and they have a little bubby together.

Dani was sick with a temperature the whole time, she was so sad that she slept through most of the festivities, but she still got to spend time with all her little cousins on easter morn.. it reminded me of our easters with Tim and Amie! weird...

So we got home from the sunshine coast around midday, and by 9:30 that night, Dani's fever was so bad, I called Amie, then headed back to Lindy's house to drop the others off and take Dani to the hospital. Wouldn't you know it, about 5 minutes in the waiting room & Dani said "mummy, my headache has gone".... hahaha, suffice to say we only spent 10 minutes there before the doc sent us home! I hate that.
Finally got home on Mon morning and my eyeballs were bugging out of my head, and i had the whole day to kill.... I got through it, put the kids to bed and just as i closed my eyes (8:30pm) I heard Dani crying again........ ah, you get the picture! It was a very long night.

On Wed (yesterday) Heidi & Sarah came here to babysit the kids so i could go to Brisbane for my appointment with the solicitor. Molly cracked it every time i gave her to one of the girls, so in the end, i took her with me.

Happy Easter

I know it's not Easter yet, but I want to get in before i either forget or we're not home...

Easter...
Amie and I have just had a chat, and we've organised to have our little 'McEaster' out at Gundallie.
I think the kiddies will LOVE that. Jesse won't be coming, but i'm sure that Dani & Lucy will have the best time with Jorja & Hollie. Bring on the choccy!

Scott...
We just took Scott to the airport, he won't fly back in till next Thursday. 8 sleeps to go!
He's been really supportive and tolerant, i'm a bit scared that i'll fall apart without him here, fingers crossed.

Lucy...
Hasn't changed a bit. She just slotted straight back into our lives - Danielle is loving the distraction too, it;s nice for her to have a little friend. She's doing so well, i can't believe how confident she is!
An absolute sweet heart.
